The Story
When Devon Distillery founder Cosmo Caddy decided not to compete with the ever-growing number of craft gin distilleries opening across the UK, he came up with something altogether more inventive — mounting a copper gin still on the back of a beautifully restored 1973 Volkswagen pickup truck.
That truck became Ginny. And Still on the Move became the UK's first licensed mobile gin distillery — since 2017.
Since then, Ginny has travelled the length and breadth of the country — from London to Devon and far beyond — appearing at country house weddings, the Army & Navy Club on Pall Mall, corporate product launches, festivals, gin events, and the back bars of some of the finest pubs and restaurants across the country.
The concept is simple but the experience is extraordinary: Ginny arrives, the still fires up, guests select their botanicals, and fresh gin flows. Every bottle is unique. Every experience is unforgettable.

Select from our curated range of fresh and dried botanicals — juniper, citrus, spice, floral, herbal. The blend is entirely up to you. Guests can also bring something unique to them — be it from their own garden, or simply something important to them — and we'll work it into the recipe where we can.

A Royal Occasion
Still on the Move created the official gin for HMS Ocean — the Royal Navy's flagship helicopter carrier — distilled in the ship's honour with naval botanicals. When HMS Ocean was decommissioned, a bottle of the specially crafted Ocean Gin was presented to Her Majesty The Queen.
