Gin is what Devon Distillery was built on. Our distillers have developed hundreds of bespoke recipes — from classic London Dry styles to contemporary-botanical expressions, house-gin programmes for hotels, and retail brands sold nationwide.
Whether you need 20 litres for a boutique venue or a 10,000-litre commercial run for national distribution, we manage every step: recipe development, distillation, resting, bottling, labelling, and HMRC compliance.
The Recipe
Every custom gin starts with a brief. Tell us your target flavour profile, your intended serve, your price point, and what makes your brand distinct — then we get to work. Recipe development typically runs to two or three sampling rounds before you sign off production.
Our still room uses copper pot stills sized for both trial and production runs, meaning your trial recipe translates directly to production without recipe drift.
Stock Bottle Styles
Held in stock for faster turnaround. Round bottles run more easily on the labelling machine, which keeps labour costs down. Other shapes and sizes sourced to order.
Stoppers & Closures
Vinolok glass stoppers are 100% recyclable. Wooden corks add warmth and craft character; heat shrink and wax sealing add premium theatre.
Packaging
We work with trusted UK suppliers to source premium bottle shapes, corks, and metal closures. We can manage your label artwork through our design partners, or work directly with your designer to produce print-ready files.

Volumes & Pricing
Our minimum production run is 20 litres — low enough for venue-specific house gins, limited-edition releases, and gift-range trials. Volume pricing kicks in at higher quantities, and we're transparent about costs at every stage.

Compliance
Devon Distillery holds the required HMRC approvals for spirits production and can ship duty-paid stock directly to you — whether that's an on-trade licence, a retail outlet, or an e-commerce fulfilment address. We also produce for clients who hold their own Duty Suspended status.
